TBS Sparkle announced the guests for Otakon 2023, scheduled for July 28-30 in Washington D.C. The event will host manga artist Kyoko Aiba, Macross artist Hidetaka Tenjin, and Macross anime director and mechanical designer Shoji Kawamori. The company also announced the movie adaptation of the popular novel "Kousokan Uso Nikki," a romantic comedy about a secret diary exchange, set to release in 2023. Additionally, TBS Sparkle revealed a new visual for the upcoming movie "Kinjirareta Asobi," starring Kanna Hashimoto and Taiki Shigeoka from Johnny's WEST. The movie is a horror story about a beautiful怨霊モンスター named Miyuki. Furthermore, the company announced the release of the original theme song "AKASAKANPAI! ~Yamitsuki Kanpai Song~" for the Akasaka street festival "Akane Matsuri," held on May 13-14 at Akasaka Sacas Square. Lastly, TBS Sparkle shared that the new TBS Friday drama "Pending Train - 8:23, Tomorrow With You" will air from April 21, 2023, at 10 p.m. The drama follows the story of strangers who find themselves in an unprecedented situation on a train.
