Team GB, a privately owned organization based in the UK, is the British Olympic team representing Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the Olympic Games. Employing approximately 130 people as of 2023, its primary function is the organization and support of British athletes competing in spectator sports at the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Team GB will participate in the SuperMoto of Nations on September 27-28, fielding a team that includes both experienced and emerging riders, as well as a father-son duo. Emma Raducanu won her match against Jaqueline Cristian at the Korea Open, advancing to the second round on an unspecified date. For the Road World Championships in Rwanda, Team GB will be represented by Tom Pidcock, Oscar Onley, and Anna Henderson in various categories; however, no team will compete in the elite women's road race or the elite or U23 men's time trials. A parkrun primary school program, supported by the Department of Education, will formally connect schools with junior parkrun events through a five-step program, following a 12-month pilot with 17,000 schoolchildren. Finally, Supertri, a triathlon brand sponsoring Team GB athletes Jonny Brownlee and Alex Yee, acquired the Blenheim Palace Triathlon, a large race held at a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
