The company operates across four business lines: Telecel Mobile, which owns and operates several mobile network operators in Africa; Telecel Global, providing services such as voice, SMS, data, IPTV, international traffic, and value-added services to mobile network operators; Telecel Play, a mobile application offering quadruple-play services with an African focus; and an Africa Startup initiative, supporting and mentoring African-based startups.
Telecel Group participated in the ceremonial tee-off for the 68th Asantehene Open Golf Championship on an unspecified date. Nicolas Bourg, Telecel Group Board Chair, Patricia Obo-Nai, Telecel Ghana CEO, and other senior leadership attended alongside Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and Sir Sam Jonah. Later in June, Telecel Group's senior leadership, including the Board Chair, made courtesy calls on the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, and the Mayor of Kumasi, Richard Ofori-Agyeman Boadi, as part of Ashanti Month celebrations. Separately, Telecel Group launched a corporate social responsibility initiative, providing free access to its Startocode digital education platform for Ghana’s One Million Coders Program. This initiative aims to address the digital skills gap.
