Telemach Hrvatska, also known as Telemach Croatia, is a privately owned company headquartered in Croatia. A subsidiary of United Group, with Optima Telekom as a subsidiary, it was founded in 2005 and employs approximately 330 individuals. The company primarily operates in the telecoms sector, providing a range of telecommunication services.
Telemach conducted its first underwater cleanup campaign of the year on April 22, 2026, on the island of Krk and the islet of Plavnik, as part of its "Happy Sea" project for Earth Day, leveraging AI drones and 5G connectivity. Previously, on April 21, Telemach Croatia opened a new "shop-in-shop" for Honor's latest devices and gadgets in Split's City Center One. This outlet, the first of its kind in Croatia and Europe, allows visitors to experience smartphones, wearable gadgets, and smart home solutions, including the new Honor 600 smartphone series. Earlier, on January 21, parent company United Group B.V. successfully completed the refinancing of €1.5 billion in bonds, strengthening its capital structure and financial flexibility. Strong investor interest allowed the Group to significantly increase the amount of new bond issuance with a floating interest rate (FRN) to €1.13 billion and refinance existing PIYC PIK bonds.
