On August 21, 2026, the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) announced an agreement for the NFHS Network to serve as the exclusive content distribution partner for the state’s high school regional and state championship events. This follows PlayOn Sports, the owner of the NFHS Network, winning a 10-year deal for the broadcast rights for CIF playoff games and state championships on August 13. Earlier, on July 30, Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) changed its streaming platform for athletic events, moving to the NFHS Network for the upcoming school year after its contract with Game Vision expired.
