The University of Dallas Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business recently secured a multiyear grant from Schwab Advisor Services, in partnership with the Charles Schwab Foundation, to establish a new financial planning program. This initiative, announced on February 18, 2026, aims to develop curriculum for future financial planners and prepare ethical, industry-ready financial advisors for a growing profession. Earlier, on February 10, the university hosted a "Lunch and Lectio" event titled "Guadalupe and the Flower World Prophecy: How Providence Prepared the Americas for Conversion," featuring speakers Joseph Julián González, a composer for award-winning films and stage productions, and Monique González.
