This agreement, with a $49 million ceiling, tasks ThinKom with delivering and evaluating its mobile Alecto high-power microwave counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) capability. Previously, on July 21, 2026, ThinKom Solutions continued to apply its VICTS (Variable Inclination Continuous Transverse Stub) technology, which incorporates innovative magnetic technology for high-power microwave communications systems. The company is rolling out VICTS systems for new defense and commercial applications, including battling drone swarms and providing transportable ground stations. Earlier, on July 20, 2026, ThinKom announced its ThinAir GT2517 terminal completed SES’ Government Technology Certification (GTC) program. This certification allows the GT2517, the first aero terminal to achieve Type 3 certification, to operate on SES’ O3b mPOWER MEO constellation for multi-orbit operation across the full complement of SES satellites.
