THX Ltd. recently debuted its new "Spark" trailer for the THX Deep Note on June 20, 2026, which incorporates HDR10+ and Eclipsa Audio, marking the return of the cinema logo. Previously, on May 19, the company unveiled a Behind-the-Scenes featurette, detailing how Hollywood creators bridged forty years of sonic history to create the "Spark" Deep Note for immersive cinema. This follows the initial launch of its 2026 THX Deep Note on April 30, the first new trailer since the original "Genesis" THX Deep Note, which the company stated initiates a new era of immersive entertainment innovation. Earlier, on April 28, THX, founded by George Lucas in 1983 and now owned by Razer, expanded its global certification and tuning operations by launching two new audio-video laboratories in Shenzhen and Taipei. These facilities will offer THX Certification and Tuned by THX services, support THX Spatial Audio technologies, and enhance the company’s testing capabilities in Asia, notably adding HDR10+ and Eclipsa Audio testing.
