Earlier, on March 12, TIDAL integrated Direct-to-Fan (D2F) album download sales into its ecosystem, enabling independent creators in the US to sell high-quality digital downloads directly to their listeners without requiring a subscription. This initiative, announced by the company's CEO and boosted by Jack Dorsey, allows artists to bypass traditional distributors and aligns with TIDAL's "artist-first" identity.
