True Lens Services (TLS) recently returned from Cine Gear Expo 2026, reporting an optimistic industry mood after a productive week showcasing its latest lens portfolio additions and long-standing favorites. Earlier, on June 3, Fabian Gamper's latest feature *Sound of Falling*, which premiered in competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and received the Jury Prize, utilized TLS Cooke Speed Panchros for its cinematography. This followed TLS's preview of its rehoused Nikon AI/AI-S lens series at Cine Gear Expo on June 2, making these legendary stills photography optics available for pre-order in modern cinema-ready housings, designed for character, reliability, and usability on set. In May, the film *Deadheading*, a darkly comic race against time, was shot using TLS Vega lenses.
