Functioning primarily as a broadcast television and radio provider, TV2 ØST delivers news and TV programs specifically targeted to and about the area corresponding to the former West Zealand and Storstrøm counties.
Optus Sport ceased operations on August 1, 2025, after nearly a decade of broadcasting football in Australia. This followed the transfer of key football rights, including the Premier League, Emirates FA Cup, J.League, and National Women’s Soccer League, to Stan Sport. Nine Entertainment Co, through its subsidiary Stan, acquired selected Optus Sport assets, including media rights agreements, subscriber agreements, and social media assets. These assets included the Premier League and Emirates FA Cup rights. Following this acquisition, Nine Entertainment appointed Howard Rees, formerly the head of Optus Sport, as its chief strategy officer for broadcast and streaming.
