Tyler Perry Studios recently expanded its operations by launching Maxscene, a new specialty division, and announced its first thriller, "Conditioned," on September 30, 2026. Courtney Glaudé, the first filmmaker to join Maxscene, will write and direct the film. Also on September 30, Perry revealed his new thriller "Confabulation" is coming to Netflix, which he wrote and directed, starring Lucien Laviscount, Taylour Paige, and Shamier Anderson. This followed the September 29 announcement that Taylour Paige and Lucien Laviscount had joined the cast of an upcoming Tyler Perry movie for the streaming platform.
