The U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is a state-owned combat support agency of the Department of Defense. Headquartered in the United States, it employs approximately 5,530 individuals. DISA is responsible for providing and operating a global secure, reliable, and interoperable information network and infrastructure to enable military operations and support the warfighter. The agency also provides a wide range of information technology (IT) services, including cybersecurity, cloud computing, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and network operations. DISA works closely with other government agencies, the military services, and industry partners to ensure the delivery of secure and reliable IT services to the Department of Defense.
