On September 19, 2025, Ubiquiti expanded its NAS range with the UNAS 2 and UNAS 4 network storage devices for private backups. These devices are compatible with the UniFi lineup of networking devices. The UNAS 2, announced officially by Ubiquiti, features space for two 3.5-inch hard drives, inserted from the bottom, and connects to the network via 2.5GbE. Power can be supplied via PoE++ through the 2.5GbE port. Ubiquiti presented the UNAS 2 and UNAS 4 as the latest lineup of tech products offering consumers ways to store data locally. Compared to similar products from other companies, the UNAS 2 and UNAS 4 have a design resembling wireless routers.
