Unión Deportiva Las Palmas S.A.D. is a privately owned Spanish professional football club founded in 1949 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Resulting from a merger of five Canary Island clubs, the team currently plays in La Liga, Spain's top football division. As of 2023, the club employed approximately 100 people and generated revenue of around $10 million. UD Las Palmas initially played at Estadio Insular before moving to Estadio Gran Canaria in 2003.
