On April 23, Universal Music Group (UMG) hosted a pop-up shop for fans of Florence + The Machine at its new permanent UMusic Shop in Penn Plaza, aligning with the band's April 21 and 22 shows at New York City's Madison Square Garden, as part of UMG’s expanding fleet of music-inspired retail locations. Earlier on April 23, UMG and Concord Music Group filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against direct-to-consumer fashion startup Quince, citing "rampant and brazen infringement" in the brand's TikTok posts. Previously, on April 22, a copyright infringement lawsuit initiated by UMG, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group, and ABKCO against internet service provider Verizon was jointly dismissed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
