University of Portland, also known as UP, is a privately owned entity headquartered in the United States. Founded in 1901, the institution employs approximately 1,710 individuals. Functioning as a private Catholic university based in Portland, Oregon, it is affiliated with the Congregation of Holy Cross, which also founded its sister school, the University of Notre Dame. The university enrolls approximately 3,700 students.
