The University of Rochester, also known as UR, is a privately owned institution based in Rochester, New York. Earlier, on August 6, the university highlighted alumnus William Horn ’14, a United States Marine Corps major, who performed complex aerial maneuvers in an F-35B Lightning II fighter jet as part of the USMC F-35B Demonstration Team near the Washington Monument on July 4, celebrating the nation’s 250th birthday.
