UTV, also known as Ulster Television, is a privately owned television broadcaster headquartered in Ireland. Founded in 1959, it serves as the ITV region for Northern Ireland. While formerly branded on-air as ITV1, UTV is a subsidiary of ITV plc and produces regional news and other programming primarily for Northern Ireland. Its most recent reported revenue, from 2016, was approximately $10 million.
