Vasaloppet

Vasaloppet, a Swedish non-profit organization founded in 1922 and jointly owned by IFK Mora and Sälens IF, organizes winter sports events. With approximately 60 employees, the organization's annual revenue is under $25 million (2023 data). Initially featuring a single 90km cross-country ski race, Vasaloppet has expanded to include around twenty races across various disciplines including cycling and running, attracting approximately 100,000 participants annually. All events utilize the historical route between Sälen and Mora.
