Vasaloppet

Vasaloppet, a non-profit organization headquartered in Sweden, is owned by IFK Mora and Sälens IF. Founded in 1922, the organization operates with approximately 60 employees and reported $21.7M in revenue as of 2023. The organization specializes in winter sports and is recognized as the world's oldest and largest cross-country ski race organizer. Originally organizing the classic 90 km long route between Berga by in Sälen to Mora, it has expanded to include approximately twenty different races annually across cycling, running, and cross-country skiing disciplines. These events attract around 100,000 registered participants and all run along the historic route between Sälen and Mora. The Vasaloppet Association Sälen-Mora focuses on planning, preparing, and developing these various events.
