Versa Networks recently completed a technical validation of its SD-WAN over Starlink on October 6, confirming that two Starlink terminals can actively carry traffic simultaneously and absorb the loss of one terminal without interrupting tested SD-WAN tunnel flows. Throughput is dependent on application requirements and can be tuned for performance. Earlier on the same day, a Futuriom study reported that 92% of IT leaders are seeking SASE consolidation, with 88% rating digital sovereignty as critical or very important, driven by desires for improved security visibility and reduced operational complexity. This follows Versa detailing its secure software development practices on October 5, where it scans its code with AI models, including Anthropic’s Claude Mythos and OpenAI’s GPT models, for pre-merge security reviews and validates its software supply chain across dozens of scanners, blocking any release with unresolved Critical or High-severity vulnerabilities.
