Vietnamese Institute for Musicology, also known as VIM, is a State Owned institution headquartered in Vietnam. Founded in 1950, it operates as an institution belonging to the Vietnam National Academy of Music under the Ministry of Culture and Information, primarily responsible for the collection, preservation, research, and marketing of Vietnamese traditional music.
