Vodafone Automotive, a privately owned motor vehicle parts manufacturer headquartered in Italy, was founded in 1975 as Cobra. Acquired by Vodafone in August 2014, the company now operates under its current name, combining Cobra's four-decade history in vehicle security and telematics with Vodafone's expertise in telecommunications and Internet of Things (IoT) services. It currently employs approximately 590 people.
