Willax Televisión

Willax Television is a privately owned Peruvian free-to-air television network headquartered in the San Borja district of Lima, Peru. Specializing in broadcast media production and distribution, the company was founded in 2010, operates as a tier 1 media tech buyer, and employs approximately 210 individuals. Initially established as a digital news platform by journalists Gilberto Hume and Cecilia Valenzuela, the station underwent a transition in 2015 following its acquisition by Corporación Wong, led by entrepreneur Erasmo Wong Lu-Vega. Under the Wong family's ownership, the network expanded its infrastructure and broadcast reach, developing a focus on investigative journalism and political commentary. The station features opinion programs, including Beto a Saber and Milagros Leiva, Entrevista, which serve as a primary platform for conservative-leaning political discourse in Peru.
