Winsted Control Room Consoles, a privately owned US-based company founded in 1963, manufactures furniture and home furnishings. As of 2023, it employs approximately 60 people and specializes in providing control room console solutions.
On July 16, 2025, Winsted announced plans to preview Emergent, a new console designed for public safety, at APCO 2025. This console was later introduced as an innovation for public safety and emergency calling professionals, with an official unveiling at APCO 2025 in Baltimore, USA, from July 27 to 30, 2025. Also on September 9, 2025, Winsted launched a redesigned website. Separately, Winsted appointed Quint Andrae as Senior Vertical Market Manager for Public Safety.
