The World Press Photo Foundation is scheduled to present its 2026 Exhibition in New York City on August 16. This event, part of a global tour, showcases the works of 42 awarded photographers from the 69th annual World Press Photo Contest, bringing depth to global complexities through photojournalism and documentary photography. Earlier in August, the exhibition was featured in Kraków, Poland, on August 2, following a presentation in Turin, Italy, on July 31. Previously, on July 29, the foundation launched "Becoming Climate" in Lublin, Poland, an exhibition dedicated to fostering collective climate awareness and action. This exhibition revisits over 100 images from the World Press Photo archive, highlighting compelling climate stories from the 21st century.
