This collaboration will expand agricultural coverage across the state, bringing daily news segments to WRTV newscasts and creating opportunities for in-depth reporting on Indiana's farming industry, which contributes more than $31.2 billion annually. Earlier, on June 8, 2026, WRTV announced plans to unveil a new augmented- and virtual-reality (AR/VR) news studio this fall. The new studio is part of a broader transformation and will support the station's coverage of breaking news, severe weather, sports, and community events across its television, streaming, and digital platforms.
