Xperi Inc., a publicly owned American technology company founded in 1990, licenses intellectual property and technologies. With approximately 1490 employees and headquarters in the US, the company's portfolio includes technologies related to mobile computing, communications, memory and data storage, and 3D integrated circuits. Xperi's subsidiaries include DTS, HD Radio, IMAX Enhanced, Invensas, and TiVo. In 2024, the company reported revenues of approximately $500 million. While initially focused on computer and electronics manufacturing, Xperi's current business model centers on licensing its intellectual property.
Xperi announced its second-quarter 2025 financial results on August 6, 2025, after the market closed. The company participated in the IFA trade show in Berlin, Germany, in September, showcasing innovations in consumer electronics. Xperi also celebrated 20 years of HD Radio innovation, noting its DTS AutoStage platform is in over 12 million vehicles globally. Joe D’Angelo, senior vice president of broadcast radio and digital audio, joined Xperi in 2015 through the acquisition of iBiquity Digital Corporation, the creator of HD Radio technology. He oversees global broadcast radio business and product development.
