On July 27, 2026, BYD upgraded its in-car entertainment, adopting Xperi's DTS AutoStage platform as its exclusive in-car media solution for future electric vehicles globally, bringing premium radio audio and video experiences. Previously, on July 26, BYD (H.K.) CO. Limited, the world’s largest manufacturer of electric vehicles, formally announced its selection of DTS AutoStage to deliver advanced audio and video entertainment experiences to its future vehicles across major international markets in Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa. Earlier, on July 24, further details emerged indicating that the rollout of this technology is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.
