XREAL released a firmware update for its XREAL One Pro smart glasses on July 23, introducing a 90fps Ultrawide mode, smoother visuals, and cleaner shortcuts. This update reduces motion lag in Anchor and Follow modes, enhancing video playback and handheld gaming responsiveness. Earlier, on July 20, XTI Aerospace's Drone Nerds added XREAL's xbx a01+ AR glasses to its consumer product line, offering lightweight AR glasses that support portable screen casting and immersive viewing within XREAL's connected ecosystem. On July 15, XREAL made its a01+ AR glasses available in the US for $299. These glasses feature Micro-OLED displays and 120Hz visuals, allowing users to transform existing phones, laptops, and handheld consoles into a large virtual display. The company previously introduced the XREAL Aura on July 13, a hybrid AR and VR glasses model designed for gaming, streaming, and productivity. Weighing under 95 grams, the Aura incorporates prism lenses and electrochromic dimming technology for adaptable visuals and a comfortable fit.
