Youverse developed a single-photo age estimation method that avoids collecting identifying information to protect user privacy. On September 1, 2025, the company concluded the Adversarial Attack Challenge for Secure Face Recognition, an event organized in collaboration with the Institute of Systems and Robotics - University of Coimbra (ISR-UC) and held at the International Joint Conference on Biometrics (IJCB 2025). Youverse also introduced continuous authentication technology designed to prevent account sharing and fraudulent activity by passively verifying the authorized account holder. Finally, the company was named a finalist for the 2025 Finnovate Awards in the Best ID Management/KYC Solution category for its work in decentralized biometric identity solutions.
