News Summary:

Aiir introduced automatic music log scheduling and exporting to its web-based music scheduling system, Aiir Scheduler, on September 7, 2026. This feature enables radio stations to generate and deliver music logs to their playout systems on a recurring schedule without human intervention. Previously, on August 24, 2026, Music 1 Inc. and Aiir announced their intent to take separate business paths at the end of 2026, concluding a commercial relationship that started in December 2013. Despite the separation, they plan to maintain close integration between Music 1 scheduling software and Aiir’s PlayoutOne radio automation system, recalling that the relationship began when Aiir founder Dave Brierley-Jones sought to integrate Music 1’s software with his company’s DARP/NG radio automation system. Earlier, on August 19, 2026, Aiir Scheduler introduced a new "recycling" rule, which allows users to utilize audio that previously aired in one part of the day at another time, aiming for exposure to a different audience.
