América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V., commonly known as América Móvil, is a Mexican multinational telecommunications company. It is the largest mobile telecommunications provider in Latin America and the ninth largest in the world. The company was founded in 1986 and is headquartered in Mexico City. América Móvil provides wireless, fixed-line, and broadband services to customers in 25 countries throughout the Americas and Europe. The company has over 190,000 employees and generates annual revenue of over $50 billion. América Móvil is publicly owned and its shares are listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange.
