Anuvu is a privately owned company headquartered in the US, formerly known as Global Eagle Entertainment. Founded in 2002, Anuvu employs approximately 900 individuals and focuses on enterprise connectivity services, providing high-speed connectivity and entertainment services for the mobility and hospitality industries.
Anuvu appointed Simon Sutton, a former HBO executive, as Chief Executive Officer, effective June 15, 2026. Sutton succeeds Joshua Marks, who served as the company's CEO since 2018. Previously, in late May 2026, Anuvu strengthened its inflight connectivity capabilities by securing a multi-year agreement with Eutelsat for high-throughput satellite capacity on the Eutelsat 10B spacecraft. This deal aims to support airline passengers with faster and more reliable internet access, specifically boosting inflight internet capacity over Europe and the Middle East through Ku-band services.
