With a workforce of approximately 3110 employees, it holds a leading market position, serving 18.3 million subscribers. Asiacell achieved the first nationwide network coverage in Iraq, reaching all 18 governorates, including Baghdad. Its network claims to cover 97% of the Iraqi population. The company is a subsidiary of Ooredoo. In 2012, Altai, a French market research firm, ranked Asiacell as Iraq's top brand across all sectors.
