On April 1, 2026, the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), in coordination with the Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA) and Volleyball World (VW), announced an immediate change of venue for the 2nd AVC Women’s Champions League, relocating the tournament to Bangkok, Thailand, from its original schedule in Incheon, South Korea, due to hosting failures. Previously, on March 6, 2026, the Confederation, in partnership with Volleyball World, awarded the China Volleyball Association the hosting rights for the 2026 AVC Beach Volleyball Continental Championships, scheduled for September 2–6, 2026, in Shangluo, China. In September 2025, Volleyball World revealed plans to stream every match of the 2025–26 Daido-Life SV.LEAGUE live and on-demand on its VBTV platform. This followed the Southeast Asia Volleyball Association (SAVA) Board of Administration Meeting held on June 9, 2025, in Bangkok, which saw full attendance from all 11 member federations in a hybrid format. On the same day, the FIVB and Qatar Foundation explored new collaboration opportunities, with Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani visiting Volleyball House to discuss volleyball's development and female empowerment.
