The Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), a privately owned organization founded in 1952, is the governing body for volleyball in Asia. Based in Thailand, the AVC employs approximately 10 people and had less than $1 million in revenue in 2023. Its primary activity is the organization and promotion of volleyball through competitions and developmental initiatives across the Asian continent.
The Southeast Asia Volleyball Association (SAVA) held a Board of Administration Meeting on June 9, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand. All 11 member federations were represented at the meeting, which was conducted in a hybrid format. Separately, Volleyball World announced that every match of the 2025-26 Daido-Life SV.LEAGUE will be streamed live and on demand on VBTV. The FIVB reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable development at the Olympism365 Summit, held from June 4-5, in Lausanne. The FIVB also met with Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, to explore collaboration opportunities. Finally, the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship theme song, "To Be The Champion," was released in Thailand.
