AT&T Mexico will not participate in the upcoming spectrum auction due to high costs, which are among the highest globally. A contract dispute exists between AT&T Mexico and American Tower Corporation concerning tower rental fees. American Tower's CEO, Steven Vondran, stated that AT&T Mexico has withheld tower rents since the beginning of the year, referring to the issue as a "one-off item." American Tower participated in the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference and Citi’s Global Technology Media and Telecommunications Conference following the announcement of this legal dispute.
