In February 2025, AVI-SPL's Senior Vice President of ESG and Sustainability, Kelly Bousman, contributed a guest post discussing the integration of sustainability into business strategy. The post highlighted a February 2025 AVIXA Sustainability Advisory Group exploration of how such integration can triple benefits for people, the planet, and profit. AVI-SPL worked on a museum project, facing the challenge of discreetly integrating technology to enhance exhibits while honoring their historical nature. Another project involved designing a sophisticated audio system for a restaurant, featuring five independently controlled zones to tailor soundscapes for different areas. Additionally, AVI-SPL implemented workspace designs incorporating accessibility features such as clear signage, Braille, and tactile elements to improve navigation and promote independence. Finally, AVI-SPL deployed a flexible technology experience for an Innovation Lab, allowing for bespoke experiences and content presentations to support customer solution exploration.
