Earlier in July, on July 9, Beeline Kazakhstan expanded its fibre-optic network in Ust-Kamenogorsk and other parts of the East Kazakhstan region, covering an additional 1,500 households since the start of the year and reaching 95% of residential buildings in the city. This followed Veon Group CEO Kaan Terzioglu's meeting with Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on July 2 to reaffirm the company's commitment to the Digital Qazaqstan Strategy.
