News Summary:

On August 20, a refreshed data roaming package, Business Visa S, was introduced for corporate customers. This package includes 1 GB of data daily for KZT 1990 (VAT included) and is valid in over 100 countries. Starting August 31, a limit of ten SIM cards per individual was implemented. Customers requiring more than ten SIM cards must submit a written application detailing their intended use for each SIM and provide the IMEI numbers of all associated devices. In the second quarter of this year, revenues totaled KZT 103.5 billion, a 3.1 percent year-on-year increase. This increase resulted from ARPU expansion, handset sales, and digital services revenue growth; however, telecom and infrastructure revenues decreased by 0.5 percent to KZT 90.2 billion. A new campaign management system, EW AdTarget, from Eastwind was implemented following a competitive selection process. The system allows for personalized communications through customer-preferred channels.
