Beltelecom (BTRC), also known as The National State TV and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus, is a state-owned company founded in 1995 and headquartered in Belarus. Beltelecom launched a promotion for its security service, Safe Internet, until 30 November. New customers can subscribe for three months at a 99% discount, paying a monthly fee of BYN 0.05. The service protects up to three devices and includes Parental Control. In another development, Beltelecom appointed Sergey Buynitskiy as the deputy CEO for digital development and IT, a newly created position. Buynitskiy previously held various roles at the national telecommunications regulator BelGIE since 2006. Beltelecom also began selling the Yandex.Station Light 2 smart speaker in its shops. Lastly, Beltelecom aims to expand its network of electric car charging stations, branded as Evika, to 200 locations by the end of the year. The operator currently operates over 110 charging stations and welcomes customer proposals for new station locations.

Beltelecom attracts more followers on social networks

Belarusian national operator Beltelecom said its social network accounts now have 68,000 users, up from 55,000 in August 2023 and 40,000 in January 2022. The operator has accounts on VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok, and also runs channels on Youtube and Telegram. Customers can use the accounts to obtain information about the operator and its services.
