On July 21st, 2025, a $100 summer sale discount applied to Bitwig Studio 5 and its Producer and Essentials versions. A competition to win a full license of Bitwig Studio ran in conjunction with a third-party on July 22nd, 2025. On August 27th, 2025, Bitwig announced that Bitwig Studio 6 entered the beta phase. This update included significant automation editing improvements, new automation clips, clip aliases, key signature settings, and an improved interface. A tutorial demonstrated the creative potential of automation clips in Bitwig Studio 6.
