On April 12, 2026, "Amanpour & Co.," airing on PBS and CNN International, featured an interview with Equal Justice Initiative founder Bryan Stevenson, during which host Christiane Amanpour discussed President Trump's government policies, conflating equality with DEI-style "equity." Previously, on March 17, CNN Greece marked ten years of its strategic partnership with CNN International, having been launched in 2015 by DPG Digital Media Group as a digital news media outlet. Earlier in March, on March 16, CNN International appointed Sylvie Zhuang as Senior China Reporter, based in its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong, tasking her with providing an on-the-ground understanding of China to an international audience. This followed Türkiye’s Communications Directorate condemning CNN International on March 6 for broadcasting a "misleading map" that misrepresented regions inhabited by Kurds, calling its editorial framing "seriously concerning."
