Canal Capital

Canal Capital is a state-owned Colombian television and radio broadcaster headquartered in Bogotá. Founded in 1995 and launched in 1997, it operates as a commercial and industrial entity under the city government's ownership. Employing approximately 350 people, Canal Capital broadcasts generalist programming with an emphasis on political, cultural, and educational content. Its programming is available free-to-air in Bogotá and Cundinamarca, and nationwide via cable and satellite. The channel has received recognition for its contributions to human rights promotion and its representation of diverse perspectives within the city.
