Central Michigan University will host a Student Game Capstone Showcase on April 30, celebrating analog and video games developed by students over the past academic year. This event, open to the campus community, is hosted by the Center for Learning through Games and Simulations, which also plans a "Break Our Games" night on June 12 in Midland. Earlier on April 30, CMU partnered with Bullock Creek High School in Midland to offer a "mixed reality" anatomy and physiology class, providing high school students with an opportunity to earn college credit. The United States Department of Agriculture provided funding for the class via a grant, with additional support from former Congressman Dan Kildee. Previously, on April 29, the university presented a free public concert featuring the combined CMU Choirs and Symphony Orchestra, directed by Dr. Amon Eady and Dr. Keith Dodson.
