Previously, on July 1, Barco signed a four-year partnership agreement with German cinema group Kinopolis to complete a full laser projection rollout across the chain’s mainstream screens. This followed an expansion of Barco's longstanding partnership with muvi Cinemas, Saudi Arabia's largest theatre exhibitor, announced on June 30. The new deal will equip over 50 screens in six new theatre locations with Barco’s Series 4 laser projectors and mFusion media servers.
