Citizens Telephone Cooperative

Citizens Telephone Cooperative is a non-profit company headquartered in the United States. Founded in 1914, the company operates as a tier 1 media tech buyer specializing in telecoms. It serves as a regional full-service communications and entertainment provider for seven counties within Southwest Virginia. Citizens is a membership cooperative, owned by its members who are also its customers, with its name acknowledging its lineage to the establishment of landline telephone in rural Floyd County in 1914. Today, the cooperative provides VoIP (digital phone service), IPTV, web and email hosting, DSL, FTTP (Fiber to the Premise) services, Business Ethernet, and FTTH (Fiber to the Home), focusing on providing network infrastructure and service to local families and businesses.
