On March 31, 2026, Comporium expanded its fiber network, investing $7.8 million to deliver multi-gig internet access to over 1,250 homes and businesses across multiple South Carolina counties. This followed the company's launch of fiber-based internet services for more than 500 homes and businesses in Transylvania County, North Carolina, on March 29, building upon a $4.7 million investment announced on March 26. The Transylvania County expansion involved installing approximately 64 miles of fiber to reach 517 locations. Earlier, on February 10, Comporium promoted Judson Davis to Vice President & Professional Engineer of Broadband Engineering and Records, tasking him with leading the Broadband Engineering, Core Network Access Technologies, and Records teams.
