On June 23, 2026, Comporium deployed Harmonic's Ripple Remote PHY (R-PHY) nodes, which deliver legacy services over an IP-based network. This distributed access architecture (DAA) deployment eliminated RF combining and splitting from the headend to the node, reducing power, space, cooling, and cabling requirements. Previously, on June 22, Comporium selected Ribbon Communications' technology to modernize its voice infrastructure. This network transformation solution, detailed on June 18, includes Ribbon's vC20 Call Controller and Application Server.
