CONCACAF, a privately owned organization founded in 1961 and headquartered in Mexico, is one of FIFA's six continental governing bodies for association football. Employing approximately 220 people, CONCACAF oversees 41 member associations representing countries and territories across North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. Its primary activity is the organization and administration of various football competitions, including those for national teams and clubs, as well as qualifying tournaments for the FIFA World Cup and FIFA Women's World Cup.
