Confederacao Brasileira de Beisebol e Softbol, also known as CBBS, a state-owned entity headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil, was founded in 1990. With approximately 10 employees, the organization focuses on bat sports, specifically baseball and softball, within Brazil. The confederation is responsible for overseeing and promoting baseball and softball throughout the country. Its mission involves organizing bat-and-ball games and popularizing these sports for the general public, especially given baseball's historical restriction to Japanese Brazilians. CBBS supports the Brazil national baseball team and boasts 120 affiliated teams and 30,000 players across the country.
