News Summary:

On April 8, 2026, DigiCAP announced it would officially unveil its new artificial intelligence-driven offering, ‘AIOps,’ at a press conference on April 19 at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. The product is designed to assist ATSC 3.0, the broadcast TV standard powering NEXTGEN TV, by addressing the growing complexity of operations as station groups scale with cloud-native containerized infrastructure. Previously, on February 26, 2026, the company presented its proof-of-concept (PoC) deployment for ATSC 3.0 and 5G Broadcast Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) coexistence. This work achieved practical coexistence between the two systems, resulting in the first commercial deployment simultaneously transmitting both services from a single broadcast station. Earlier, on January 26, 2026, DigiCAP disclosed an individual operating loss of 23 billion won for the previous fiscal year, indicating a 42.7% increase in its deficit. This follows its acquisition of PAIRIN, an AI-based software platform focused on workforce development technology, on May 20, 2025, marking DigiCAP’s second investment in six months and its first in the enterprise software marketplace.
