On August 13, 2026, CORSAIR announced the availability of its NIGHTSWORD v2 WIRELESS SD Stream Deck Gaming Mouse, which features a dedicated Stream Deck launch button and expands the Stream Deck ecosystem. This followed Microsoft Teams' removal of its legacy external-control capability on August 12, ending Elgato’s official Stream Deck integration for managing live Teams meetings with physical keys; the practical cutoff for this functionality was June 30, 2026, after Elgato had already removed its Teams plugin from the Stream Deck Marketplace on December 12, 2025. Earlier, on August 10, Elgato highlighted its cameras, audio solutions, lighting, and workflow tools for their role in elevating digital learning experiences in schools and universities, supporting hybrid classrooms and online lectures.
